Upcoming Motorola Phones 2014: Moto X Successor Tipped For 'Late Summer' Release, Would It Be As Boring As The Galaxy S5?

Upcoming Motorola phones 2014: Soon to be Lenovo-owned Motorola did not have much to say at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. During the company's small press event, it unveiled only a smartwatch.  

However, according to a report by BGR, the manufacturer may have accidentally spilled the beans when it provided a vague release date for the successor of its Moto X handset. 

During a Q&A portion on Twitter, company representatives said the upcoming second generation Android-powered handset will be launched 'late summer'. 

With manufacturers eager to make a difference in the first several months of the year, they would surely find a way to release their devices sooner rather than later.
