Final Fantasy 15 Release Date Announcement Coming Soon As X/X-2 HD Unveils New Features? New Trophies, Dress Spheres, Penance, Creature Creator, Last Mission, And More!

With two highly anticipated Final Fantasy titles, Square Enix appears to be near a big announcement regarding Final Fantasy 15 and a possible release date.

Epoch Times report that Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto is saying new information regarding both Final Fantasy 15 and Kingdom Hearts 3 will be coming "in the near future."

Currently, the speculation is that Final Fantasy 15 is casting English actors, meaning that production is very far long into development and an international port will be forthcoming.

Some are speculating that with such news, perhaps a release date for Final Fantasy 15 will be announced before Kingdom Hearts 3.

“We can’t give too much information but certainly looking at ‘Final Fantasy 15,’ it’s not as if it’s in competition with ‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ for resources or anything like that,” says Final Fantasy producer Yoshinori Kitase.

“It’s quite far into development now and it is being given a very high priority within the company itself, but that doesn’t mean Kingdom Hearts isn’t.”

Meanwhile, a Final Fantasy game that will be coming out next month is Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD.

In the trailer below, you can check out all the new features in this HD remake, including new dress spheres, trophy system, as well as bonus content from the previous International release like Last Mission and Penance.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD will release on the PS Vita and PS3 on March 18.
