Install Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update On Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500; SmartDroid Custom ROM Now Available

Samsung Galaxy S4 users can now install Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update on their smartphone using a custom firmware.

According to WCCF Tech, custom firmware called SmartDroid, which is based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is now available for Samsung Galaxy S4 bearing the model number GT-I9500. Reportedly, this Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update "has the distinction of Android 4.4.2 KitKat." Aside from the tweaks, the developer of the SmartDroid custom ROM based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update also added the launcher for Samsung's Touchwiz, as well as the stock IU /Look.

As posted on GSM Arena, the Samsung Galaxy S4 was announced March 2013 and it was released in the market on the next month. The smartphone is already upgradeable to Android 4.4.2 KitKat update, according to the site. But for Samsung Galaxy S4 users who prefer to update their smartphone via a custom firmware and slightly older OS, The SmartDroid ROM based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is already stable and smooth.
