Stoke City will face off against rival Arsenal on Saturday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.

Stoke City, coming out of a 1-0 loss to Manchester City, is expected to be the underdog in the match.

Stoke City Manager Mark Hughes confirmed his team's interest in Ivica Olic, SkySports.com reports.

"It is fair to say he is an interesting player - one I have faced in the past and have always been impressed with," Hughes said, according to the site.

"There is an interest there and we'll see how it progresses." 

Arsenal, coming out of a 4-1 victory over Sunderland, is expected to be the favorite in the match.

Arsenal Manager Arsène Wenger said Liverpool are contenders for title, SkySports.com reports.

"It's very tight at the top, Liverpool are in the race, and they have an advantage as it is the only competition they play," Wenger said, according to the site.

"I hope it will be tight until the end, because then it will be interesting and if you are consistent then you have a chance to win."
