Once Upon A Time Season 3 Spoilers: Neal And Rumple, Rapunzel And Charming, And More!

As "Once Upon a Time" season 3 prepares for its mid-season premiere, spoilers regarding Neal, Rumple, Rapunzel, and Charming have surfaced.

It has been confirmed that Rapunzel—played by Alexandra Metz—will be introduced through a storyline with Charming.

“We went a little darker and freakier. A little more horror story in the vein of [the 2004 movie] 'The Grudge,'” promises Eddy Kitsis.

And according to spoilers, actor Josh Dallas agrees, touting the episode as "awesome," "dark," and "very psychological."

"[This is] an episode where you have Charming facing a lot of his ultimate fears. He’s going to have to really look at himself, when confronted with something that challenges his strength and courage.”

Dallas also promises that Rapunzel, "like all of our women, very strong."

In addition, spoilers also confirm that one storyline regarding Neal will put him on a very dangerous path to becoming his father, Rumplestiltskin.

First, the mystery of Rumple's fate will be explored in episode 13.

Secondly, now that Neal is once again separated Emma and Henry, he will have to decide the lengths he's willing to go to reunite with them.

“In a lot of ways Neal finds himself in a similar position that his father did, which is: I’m stuck in a land and I need to get back to the people I love,'" says Kitsis.

“Rumple was willing to curse everybody to get what he wanted. Neal has, up until this point, kind of been a really moral center for his dad… So the question is, ‘Will he follow the same path?’”
