Mary-Kate Olsen Engaged To Oliver Sarkozy! ‘Full House’ Actress Unaffected By The 17-Year Age Gap And Even Inspires Fiancé To Be A Better Father

It's certainly a blissful month for Mary-Kate Olsen who just got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Oliver Sarkozy.  After two years of dating, the French banker has finally popped the big question to the 'Full House' actress.

Mary-Kate Olsen and Oliver Sarkozy have been dating since 2012. They are currently living together in a luxurious townhouse in New York City. 

Even if the 27-year-old blonde beauty's husband-to-be is 17 years older, age does not seem to affect the stability of their relationship.

Sarkozy, who is the half-brother of ex French president Nicolas Sarkozy, will be tying the knot for the second time. Prior to Olsen, he was married to Charlotte Bernard. They have two children named Julien, 12, and Margo, 10. 

Since it is the 'New York Minute' star's first marriage, will it be difficult for her to adjust to the new role of stepmother?

Such isn't the case for Olsen appears to be inspiring her fiancée when it comes to his father duties: "Mary-Kate has made him a better father. She remembers all the kids' special events. She thinks he's a great dad," claims the source to Us Weekly.

The same source likewise adds that the Olsen family is more than happy to welcome the newest addition: "Mary-Kate's family thinks Olivier is the best thing to happen to her. They love him."

Olsen currently runs the exclusive fashion line The Row.

Like her identical twin sister, Ashley Olsen is reportedly dating director Bennet Miller who's older than her. The 'Moneyball' director is 47.
