Upcoming Android Phones 2014: Oppo Find 7 Rumored To Get 50-Megapixel Camera, Monster Specs Include 5.5" 2K Display, Snapdragon 801 Chipset

Upcoming Android Phones 2014: We may not have heard anything about the Oppo Find 7 during the MWC in Barcelona last week, but the company is geared to make up for it with new leaks and teasers about its upcoming flagship.

In a news report by GSM Arena, an image surfaced on Chinese microblogging site Weibo which shows a car. However, if you look at the image's EXIF data, it clearly mentions that it was taken using an Oppo Find 7 smartphone.

And in case you are wondering how many pixels are packed in the image, it is a whopping 8160 x 6120, which in translation points to a camera with 50 megapixels.

If you thought Nokia's Lumia 1020 was the best camera phone, wait until you see Oppo's Find 7.

Aside from the monster camera lens, other rumored specs of the new flagship include a 5.5-inch screen with 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, a quad-core CPU, and Snapdragon 801.

If you look at these specs in paper, the Oppo Find 7 is shaping up to be an even better spec'd smartphone than the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S5. But again, we will have to see the quality build, and actual performance of the handset in daily tasks in order to gauge its real place in the high-end mobile market.
