It appears that Taylor Swift and Harry Styles' breakup reason is not an issue anymore for the two pop sensations. Apart from honoring celebrities for their stellar performances, the Oscars 2014 likewise paved way for friendships to be rekindled.

As per Perez Hilton, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles reportedly got the chance to chat for nearly 10 minutes at Harvey Weinstein's Oscars 2014 bash.  According to onlookers, the two did not appear tensed or conscious.

"They both realized that they're obviously going to keep bumping into each other at showbiz events, so they might as well make it civil between them. They broke up over a year ago, so there's no reason why they shouldn't just keep things friendly between them when they see each other," claims one insider.

The two reportedly ended their 37-day romance because of their work commitments.

"They are both really busy and never in one place for long. Harry's really upset about the split and is really sensitive about it. Loads of his friends told him to be careful and that it was never going to last, and he feels a little foolish now that it's fallen apart so quickly," previously claimed one source to Life and Style magazine.

When the blonde beauty won the best female video for 'I Knew You Were Trouble' at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, her acceptance speech included a reference to her previous relationship with the One Direction crooner.

"I want to thank the person who inspired this song because he knows exactly who he is, because now I've got one of these," the 24-year-old said. The camera then panned to Styles who did nothing but smile innocently.
