While some fans are still hoping for Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev back together news to surface, it doesn't appear to be the case since the 'Vampire Diaries' actress recently joked about her not wanting to date anyone except her bed.

Last February 28, the 25-year-old actress posted an Instagram photo about her dating preference. The quote photo reads: "I have a date tonight, with my bed. We're totally gonna sleep together." The brunette beauty captioned the image: "Yupp me too! Dateeeeeee night! Can't wait!"

In her usual Picture Quote of the Day, the Canadian star posted an image of acquiring happiness from pastries: "You can't buy happiness but you can buy cupcakes and that's kind of the same thing."

On the other hand, Ian Somerhalder enlivened his Instagram page by letting his fans know about his upcoming trip to New Orleans.

The famed couple ended their three-year relationship allegedly because of the 10-year age gap. Somerhalder reportedly asked Dobrev's hand for marriage which the latter declined because of her young age.
