Oscars 2014 Winners List: Best Picture Goes To ’12 Years A Slave’; Matthew McConaughey Best Actor & Cate Blanchett Best Actress; Gravity Grabs 7 At Hollywood’s Biggest Night

Oscars 2014 Winners List: The 86th Annual Academy Awards last Sunday not only feature the biggest stars in Hollywood but also gave way to the creation of what is now the world’s most famous selfie. “Gravity” was the leading film to grab awards, getting 7 statues at the event but it was “12 Years a Slave” that ended up getting the Best Picture.

Matthew McConaughey, the leading man turned Oscar winner, took home the Best Actor Oscar for his role at “Dallas Buyers Club” and British star Cate Blanchett won Best Actress for her character in “Blue Jasmine.”

The three-hour telecast was seen by 43 million viewers, its highest in 10 years and was hosted by talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. See the official list of winners below.
