Android 4.4 Kit Kat release date: Sprint Moto X users can now rejoice as the version 4.4.2 of KitKat is now available for download to your phones via OTA.

According to a report by Android Authority, the new update has began rolling out to Moto X devices for Sprint, following the release for other carriers such as T-Mobile, Verizon and U.S. Cellular.

As you may have expected, there is not much to be happy about the update, except that it is able to address certain issues and bring new features to the table.

In the report, the changelog contains provided support for printing photos using certain Android apps like Gmail, Google Docs, and others via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Google Cloud Print. This makes printing documents on the go a lot easier especially if you don't have a laptop with you.

Another part of the update is improved battery life, one enhancement that users would surely be happy to get for their Moto X devices. Lastly is the fix for email sync delays so emails would accurately reflect on your device in real time.

The update is available via OTA by going to settings - about phone - system updates.
