Samsung Galaxy S5 Release Date: Tech Giant Unveils First Intro Video Of New Flagship, Boasts 5.1" Full HD Screen, 2.5GHz Quad-Core CPU, 16MP Shooter, Android Kit Kat

Samsung Galaxy S5 release date: Whatever people say about its, a high-end flagship device is still a great smartphone. And Samsung is already gearing up its huge marketing campaign for the latest addition to its Galaxy S lineup.

According to a report by Android Community, a promotional video has been released by Samsung to showcase the features and design of its latest creation - the Galaxy S5.

While tech bloggers, consumers, and even its competitors are bashing it for poor design, anyone would admit that it still packs some seriously high-end specs, except for the Full HD (1920 x 1080) display which is last year's tech.

In the clip, the Galaxy S5 showcases its 5.1-inch Super AMOLED screen, the power of its 2.5GHz Quad-Core Krait 400 CPU, the Snapdragon 800 chipset which its original Galaxy S4 lacked, but only 2GB of RAM.

There is also a 16-megapixel camera, IP67 rating which certifies the devices as water and dustproof, a 2,800mAh battery, and Android 4.4 Kit Kat out of the box.

In spite the 16GB of internal memory, a new report claims that only a little more than 10GB would be user-accessible due because the software would be a ROM-hog just like previous devices from the manufacturer.

Of course, we would not be able to test it until we get our hands on the actual device. The Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to launch on April 11.
