Lea Michele And Cory Monteith Dating Story Reminisced; ‘I Thank Him For Being The Best Boyfriend,’ Says ‘Cannonball’ Songstress

The April 2014 issue of Seventeen magazine features Lea Michele and Cory Monteith's dating story. As the cover girl of the magazine, the brunette beauty talked about her happy memories with her late boyfriend.

"From the minute he said, 'I'm your boyfriend,' I loved every day. And I thank him for being the best boyfriend and making me feel so beautiful," the 'Glee' star said.

Cory Monteith's death influenced Michele's latest album, 'Louder'. Although her album was originally planned to be filled with upbeat songs, Cory Monteith's death affected the 27-year-old singer's preference: "I found myself picking and writing these songs that were very emotional and dramatic. Louder has songs that express extreme love and some pain. I look at it and think, 'That was my year.' I didn't record any songs I didn't completely relate to."

How is she coping up with Monteith's passing away?

"I try my best to march forth and live my life as best as I can for me. I also feel an incredibly happy responsibility to keep the memory and light of [Cory, who] was the most amazing person. I'm so happy to make it my journey now to continue on and live my life as best as I can," the 'Cannonball' songstress said.

Michele's solo album has been officially released last March 3.
