Now that Tom Daley is out and proud, he may have accidentally shown too much of himself after a nude photo surfaced taken by his friend.

Somehow, Tom Daley's friend Sophie managed to take a nude photo of the Olympic swimmer in the shower, and subsequently uploaded the photo on Instagram.

Naturally, Tom Daley is furious and has since requested the photo to be taken down, but screencaps of the nude photo are circulating the web nonetheless.

"Tom knows Sophie was larking about, but he is concerned about his reputation," says a source to The Sun. "He's supported by sponsors like Adidas who expect him to behave in an appropriate manner. He is also the face of a major ITV show."

This is all a bit of a déjà vu when you consider who he is dating.

Currently, Tom Daley is in a relationship with boyfriend Dustin Lance Black, who was embroiled in controversy after nude photos surfaced of the Oscar-winning screenwriter with another man.

The NSFW nude photos depicted unsafe sex and fellatio, so in comparison, this Tom Daley (involuntary) nude photo scandal is not quite as controversial.

And hopefully soon, people begin to recognize Tom Daley and his boyfriend Dustin Lance Black, as fans appear to think any man the diver is with as automatically his lover!
