Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding date has been set for May. The long-awaited crowning of the Kimye nuptuals will take place under a stellar show, there is a meteor shower on the night of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding.

Kim Kardashian says the spring wedding will be an 'intimate' affair. Kardashian and west will walk down the aisle weeks before celebrating their daughter North West's first birthday.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West told the new issue of Us Weekly that they be married in Paris, France, on Saturday, May 24.

A representative for Kim Kardashian told Newsday she was "not commenting on date speculation." Kanye West's people have not made any officials comment. But a source said "It won't be a huge wedding. Around 150 people."

Astronomers predict there will be a meteor shower on Kim Kardashian Kanye West wedding date. The couple decided that astronomical predictions of a comet bursting through the Earth's atmosphere, will make for a dazzling meteor shower. It is also a month before daughter North turns 1 on June 15.

Kardashian told People magazine, "I'm just really excited for this year. So many exciting things are happening in my life, and I feel so much good energy. It's just going to be the best."

Last week Kardashian told Ryan Seacrest "As we are going along, we realize we want it to be smaller and more intimate than people are imagining and thinking."

Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian in October. West popped the question to Kardashian with an elaborate event on the field of a baseball stadium San Francisco's AT&T Park. There was an orchestra playing in the background.

Kanye West's proposal was aired on an episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

In the episode Kim says "It is so crazy to me that this is all happening. Kanye really outdid himself. It feels like I'm in a dream. It's just the most amazing experience."

Kanye popped the question with a 15-carat diamond engagement ring. Kardashian gushed, "It really is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I just can't believe I'm engaged."

A family insider said "Kim can't wait to marry Kanye."
