Emilia Clarke, Boyfriend Cory Michael Smith, Hit Post-Oscar Party; Game of Thrones Star Tells Style She’s Single and Happy That Way

Game of Thrones Season 4 News: Emilia Clarke was potted with new boyfriend Cory Michael Smith this weekend. The Game of Thrones' Mother of Dragons recently said she's happy being single. Emilia Clarke's ex-boyfriend is Seth MacFarlane.

Emilia Clarke and her boyfriend Cory Michael Smith, who is co-starring with Clarke on Broadway, hit the Vanity Fair post-Oscar party on Sunday. Emilia Clarke met her boyfriend while going Holly Golightly in the Truman Capote play Breakfast at Tiffany. The play's not doing well, but Emilia Clarke and her boyfriend are doing fine.

A source who claims they are close to the Khaleesi told Page Six that Clarke and Smith are just friends. But witnesses say Emilia Clarke and her boyfriend were holding hands and dancing together at the Vanity Fair Oscar Bash.

Emilia was previously linked to Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane. The two first got together at the 2012 Emmys and broke up in March 2013. She was then was rumored to be going with James Franco.

Of course if you ask Emilia Clarke who she's dating these days, she'll say no one.

Clarke told InStyle U.K. that she loves being single.

Emilia Clarke told the magazine "People keep asking me who I'm dating right now and the truth is...wait for [it]...no one. And that's OK. I'm figuring out a lot of stuff right now. I think as a woman it's in our nature to nurture someone else. Sometimes at the expense of ourselves."

Emilia Clarke plays the Mother of Dragons on HBO's "Game of Thrones."

Emilia Clarke recently voted No. 1 on AskMen's Top 99 most Desirable Women of 2014.

And not just men. Stevie Nicks, the Fleetwood Mac singer, said there's a special place in her heart for Emilia Clarke's Daenerys Targaryen. She said "Khaleesi (Clarke) is my new favorite heroine. And Cersei (Lena Headey) is fantastic."

Emilia Clarke got the part of Danaerys Targaryen on HBO's "Game of Thrones" by doing a funky chicken dance.

Emilia Clarke wasn't the first choice for the Khaleesi. HBO was going with Tazmin Merchant, who was in the film "Jane Eyre" and the acclaimed series "The Tudors." Clarke danced her way into the part. Emilia Clarke is one hot dragon mama.

Emilia Clarke recently revealed when she was auditioning in front of showrunner and co-creator David Benioff "I did the robot, followed by the funky chicken. I think it sealed the deal." 

Benioff said Clarke was pretty much in even before she danced because "We needed an actress who could convincingly embody both the timid, voiceless Dany we first meet, and the Mother of Dragons she later becomes. Some of the young women could do fearful but not fearsome-one or two could do the reverse. Only Emilia nailed both."

Emilia had to get it worded into her contract that she didn't have to do explicit scenes.
