Lupita Nyong'o Oscar Win 2014 Triggers Romantic Speculations, Best Supporting Actress Academy Award Winner Dating '12 Years A Slave' Michael Fassbender?

Lupita Nyong'O Oscar win 2014 has made her a household name and a new media sweetheart. Within a few days of receiving the Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress, the 31-year old Lupita has been linked to '12 Years A Slave' Michael Fassbender.

The two of them are said to have hit really well during the shooting and promotion of the Oscar winning movie. Lupita even thanked her co-star in her Oscar speech, calling him her 'rock.'

 The speculations regarding their romantic link up was there for quite some time but gained momentum after Lupita shot to limelight after taking home the Oscar trophy. She beat the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Julia Roberts and others to be adjudged the best in the best supporting actress category.

During the run-up-to the Oscar days, the Screen Actors Guild Award winner was rumored to  be dating the fellow SAG nominee and Oscar winner Jared Leto of Dallas Buyers Club fame. 

However, the news of their alleged linkup soon disappeared after the new speculations around Milay Cyrus dating Jared Leto kicked off.

In her mid-February interview with the charming Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres, the Kenyan actress joked about how she reads about herself being linked up with different people in the industry.  

She quipped, "it's crazy 'cause when I read these rumors they're so detailed that even I start to question whether they're true or not."

Just yesterday, another news surfaced that said Lupita Nyong'O may be seeing Somali rapper K'naan, as according to some sources, the two of them looked very comfortable together while coming out of Live! TV studios on Monday. K'naan, who is a former gang member and also faced trial on drug charges, was seen holding Lupita's Oscar trophy.

The rumors and reports around who is Lupita Nyong'O dating have been pouring in ever since the Cinderella like story of '12 Years A Slave' became yet another manifestation of the famed 'American Dream.'
