Need For Speed Movie Star Aaron Paul Says He Can't Stop Driving During Shoots; Breaking Bad Star Also Talks About Appearing In Better Call Saul Series

Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul has been very vocal about the authenticity of the stunts and car chase scenes in his new film, Need for Speed movie. In several interviews, he claimed that the video game-based movie is the 'true car' film because of its genuine stunts.

Need for Speed, which will hit theaters on March 14, tells the story of Tobey Marshall (played by Paul) who drives cross country to seek revenge for the death of his friend. The film also stars Dominic Cooper, Imogen Poots, and Kid Cudi.

In a report by EuroNews, Paul revealed that as much as he is excited about his new project, he also felt a lot of tensions and nervousness while shooting it, especially the death-defying scenes.

"There was no CGI (computer generated imaging) in this film. All of the stunts that you see in this film actually happened. He (director Scott Waugh) didn't want to lie to his audience and that's what really excited me about this project. And the fact that he wanted me to do most of my driving made me a little nervous but also made me very excited just to kind of get on the track as often as I could," Aaron Paul explained.

Since he enjoy driving super fast cars, Paul said that sometimes, he do more takes even if they are not necessary anymore.

"I would always ask for more takes. Sometimes because I wanted another take because I didn't feel right about it, but the majority of the time, it's because I wanted to keep driving. They frowned upon us taking these cars for a joyride. Whenever we were practicing on a skid pad or closed track, then yeah, we could drive them, but those moments didn't last."

While Paul is currently busy with his new film, other news have been circulating that he want to appear in the Breaking Bad spin-off series, Better Call Saul.

It is no secret that the 34-year old actor's career skyrocketed because of Breaking Bad where he played the side kick of Bryan Cranston's Walter White. Paul knows this too, and for that, he is very thankful of show creator Vince Gilligan. Breaking Bad is finished and fans are now waiting for its spin-off, Better Call Saul, which is about the back story of the iconic Saul Goodman played by Bob Odenkirk. When asked if he's willing to appear in the spin off, Paul said yes without any hesitation.

"If Better Call Saul decided that they wanted me to be a part of it, big or small, I would be there in a heartbeat. Vince Gilligan gave me my career, so yeah. And it'd be fun to play Jesse in his lighter, happier days."
