Once Upon a Time's biggest villain of all time is the Evil Queen/Regina Mills, which is played by Lara Parrilla. Throughout the show, episodes talking about her back story have revealed how much of pain in the neck she is for different characters. She was responsible for the separation of Hansel and Gretel from their father, drove the Mad Hatter mad, and once worked as an apprentice of Rumplestiltskin.

Regina Mills is hated by many for her shenanigans and evil works. But, has anyone asked why she is like that? The Evil Queen is believed to be a bad-ass to Snow White because the princess is the reason behind the death of queen's one true love. However, according to Once Upon A Time Season 3 Spoilers shared by Parrilla in an interview with Access Hollywood. There's more to that. There's another guy who broke her heart, reason why she kept it close for almost forever.

Access asked Parrilla about recurring character Robin Hood (played by Sean Maguire) and how he and the Evil Queen will be connected.

"They do meet up, but she doesn't know who he is," the 36-year old actress said.

The Evil Queen was also pressed about the man that Regina deeply fell in love with and eventually left her.

Access: She was told that she has a true love out there earlier in the season and we know he is out there. Will we be able to see them together at some point?

Parrilla: They actually have to work together, but it's not what you think. There's a slight flirtation, there's a little flirtation, but the way I kind of describe it is they're 'romancing the stone.' You know? There's just a lot of tension between them, which is great to see on screen, but in fairy tale land, like I said, Regina's heart is so broken and really closed off to anyone. ... She's really given up and she has a secret up her sleeve and it's quite jarring when you see it. And so at this stage, she's not open to love, she's not looking for any replacements or anyone to fill the void. Right now she's mourning.
