Da Vinci’s Demons Season 2 Gets More Interactive With New Smartphone Apps; ‘Your Portrait by da Vinci’ Now Available On Digital Stores

Leonardo Da Vinci is known for inventing things to improve way of life. In the television series Da Vinci's Demons in Starz, he does the same but here, Leonardo is more adventurous and more courageous. The show will be back for its second campaign on March 22 and fans just can't get enough of Tom Riley, who plays Leonardo, and Laura Haddock, as Lucrezia Donati.

To bring the fans closer to their favorite star and show, Starz has came up with a couple of applications that let users connect with Leonardo and other Da Vinci's Demons characters. One of which is called 'Your Portrait by Da Vinci' and is now available on Web browsers (at Starz.com and the Demons Facebook page) as well as for IOS devices. This allows fans to upload their pictures or connect through Facebook to find images and watch how da Vinci's hand sketches an artistic photo of your kid, significant other, and more.

"Da Vinci's Demons offers a unique opportunity for us to bring a real genius from the 17th century to fans using 21st-century technology," says Erin Dwyer, Starz's executive director of digital marketing.

"We wanted to introduce a taste of Leonardo da Vinci's talents and intellect to consumers in a way that was fun and relevant today and made them the focal point of the experience."

"What would your profile photo look like if da Vinci himself were to sketch it? Where do you fall on a scale of genius vs. madness against the likes of Vincent Van Gogh, Vlad the Impaler and Homer Simpson?" Dwyer says. "These are the questions we wanted to pose through fun interactive experiences that bring our show and Leonardo da Vinci to life."

Aside from 'Your Portrait by Da Vinci', fans general knowledge and and IQ will be tested with another application specifically made for the fantasy drama. This is called  "Dark Side of Genius" interactive app which is also available on via the Starz website and iOS and Android devices. In this smartphone application, users will take an online quiz to measure intelligence and madness, using geometry problems, Rorschach tests and psychological questions from real exams.
