3D Doraemon Movie 2014 Trailer Precedes New Nobita Anime Film And Japanese Magazine Invasion: 'Stand By Me' Walt Disney Release To Be Final Goodbye?

As 2014 prepares for two upcoming Doraemon projects, the 2014 movie trailer for "Stand by Me" will amp up sentiments as the "New Nobita" anime movie opens in Japan.

Recently a new 2014 movie teaser trailer for "Stand by Me Doraemon" has been uploaded on YouTube. This features footage from the original full-length trailer and an additional animation title.

You can check out the full-length trailer for "Stand by Me Doraemon" below, which opens in August.

With the narrator stating that this is "Doraemon's first—and final—story," many fans are worried that this may be the franchise's final entry, despite being the first 3D CG movie entry.

But before fans potentially say goodbye, there is a new Doraemon anime movie in theaters in Japan right now, called "Doraemon: New Nobita's Great Demon~Peko and the Exploration Party of Five~"

In celebration of this movie (and probably the 2014 "Stand by Me" movie as well), a massive Doraemon campaign is currently running in Japan where the iconic character will grace 51 magazine covers.

According to Crunchyroll, 700,000 copies of these various magazines by Shogakukan will circulate between February 15 and April 7, which will time nicely with the "New Nobita."

Reportely, this is also to celebrate author Fujiko Fujio's 80th birthday.
