Legend Of Korra Book 3 Release Date Coming 'Soon', Confirms Co-Creator Bryan Konietzko: Season 4 Series Finale Animatic Meeting Signals Beginning Of The End
As "The Legend of Korra" Book 3 looms closer, co-creator Bryan Konietzko confirms that a release date is coming "soon."
In a recent Tumblr post, Konietzko confirms that "The Legend of Korra" Book 4 is in the pre-production stages, and that a Book 3 release date could be announced any day now.
"It may be hard to believe since Book 3 hasn't even aired yet (SOON!), but we just had the final 'Korra' animatic meeting this afternoon for the Book 4 series finale episode," writes Konietzko.
"Though we had the animatic meeting, that still means there's a TON of work left to do on Book 4. That is still part of the pre-production process."
Currently, the major theory regarding a "Legend of Korra" release date is that it will be confirmed at the Nickelodeon upfront on March 13.
Animation for "The Legend of Korra" Book 3 is nearing completion, which is usually a sign that a release date is looming closer, and experts such as Emergency Awesome predict that a premiere date as early as April or May is feasible.
Sadly, as "The Legend of Korra" continues production for Book 3 and Book 4, 2014 will likely be the final year its wonderful crew remains together as a whole.
But now, all eyes are on the Nickelodeon upfront and whether a "Legend of Korra" Book 3 release date will follow.
Stay tuned for updates!
