Upcoming Android Phones 2014: Pantech's Upcoming High-End Device Could Be World's Fastest When Announced, Rumored Specs Include Snapdragon 805, 5.5" Display, 2GB RAM, 13MP Snapper

Upcoming Android phones 2014: We have heard a number of rumors already about Pantech's newest high-end device, but this time it has been tipped to be the first smartphone to get Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 chipset.

Theoretically, that makes it the fastest phone in the market when it does get launched.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Pantech Vega Iron 2 will be the first smartphone to get Qualcomm's latest chipset which boasts four Krait 450 cores running at 2.5GHz, as well as Adreno 420 graphics for maximum performance in the graphics department.

If we look at the smartphone's spec list, it is indeed a worthy recipient of the Snapdragon 805 chipset. The Vega Iron 2 packs a 5.5-inch screen with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera at the back and a 3Mp front-facing shooter.

The Android-powered handset also has LTE-A connectivity, an option for 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, and a 2,800mAh battery.

Unfortunately, from what we know, the Pantech device will only launch in its home market in Korea. We sure hope the Korean company would launch the device in the international market as well.
