Cheap Android Phones 2014: ZTE Grand S EXT Appears In Images Ahead Of Announcement, Features Curved Back, Plastic And Metal 'Molded Together'

Cheap Android phones 2014: If you are looking for a cool smartphone with a curved design, but you cannot afford either Samsung's Galaxy Round or LG's G Flex, then this one from ZTE may do.

According to a report by Android Police, the Android-powered handset has recently appeared in Red-Dot 21 phone design directory, ahead of its official announcement.

For now, all we can see is the form factor and design of the ZTE Grand S EXT. The front is certainly flat, but it has a curved back, which could have been a design decision caused by the recent release of curved devices in the market.

But as far as the design is concerned, the upcoming ZTE handset is certainly a looker. According to the report, it is the first smartphone in 2014 that is made of Nano Molding Technology (NMT), a process that molds plastic and metal creating some sort of 'hybrid' design.

While the naming could certainly be improved, it is by no means an ugly phone.

We will certainly hear more about this device in the coming weeks.
