After 5 Years In Prison, Rapper Lil Boosie Blown Away By Apple's FaceTime

Lil Boosie's prison release after five years made a lot of news, especially on social media where Boosie fans (and snubs) did their bit to mark his freedom from captivity.

Ironically, the 'Incarcerated' rapper had not been able to keep up the pace with these new wonders of technology and expressed his amazement during the recent press conference.

The piece of high-tech marvel that 'blew his mind' is Apple's Facetime. Instagram and other apps came a close second. When Lil Boosie was imprisoned in 2009 on charges of first degree murder, Facebook and Twitter were already around. He also took to his @officialboosie Instagram account yesterday, the account that was created while he was away and was being managed by his reps.

During the 'Boosie Speaks' press conference in New Orleans on March 10, the 'Bad Azz' rapper said, "I was surprised that on my iphone you could look at people and talk on the phone... the world's a changing."

He also went on to elaborate upon his career plans that include multiple collaborations, a book and even a movie.

As reported by Nola.com, Lil Boosie said, "I just did one (track) with Young Jeezy last night. Me and Justin Bieber gonna do something, too. I know it's (going to be) a hit. I'm always excited about music. I'm like a music fiend. I know music from the '50s, '60s, '70s on up. I just want to work with everybody who's doing their thing right now."

In the last five days after his release from prison, Lil Boosie (real name Torrence Hatch) has been reportedly spending a lot of time in the studio working on songs and means to revive his record label 'Atlantic.'

On a more serious note, Boosie expressed his opinions on legalizing marijuana in Louisiana. He said that though he is off drugs, he doesn't rule out legalizing marijuana, if doing so can pull the state out of the debts.
