RHONY Season 6 Premiere Pretty Dull [VIDEO] Nothing New On Real Housewives Of New York As New Housewife Kristen Taekman On The Fence On Siding With Ramona And Sonja or Aviva

RHONY premiere was pretty dull tonight, don't ya think? With the exceptions of watching Ramona and her husband getting along before what we all know will end in divorce and the opening RHONY tag-lines, the premeier just didn't deliver. In the first episode of New York Housewives in over a year, the ladies meet up and new New RHONY cast member, Kristen Taekman, joins the new crew for season 6. Kristen and Carol seemed like the only Housewives that haven't gone completely mad so far. But besides the new fresh face, The season 6 premiere was completely lifeless, with the same old storylines, problems and anecdotes as last RHONY season.

Ramona and Sonja, aka Ramonja, are still BFFs that bicker like sisters. Not surprisingly, Sonja is dating a much younger man named Ben. We barely see Heather or Carol, who have become the new RHONY BFFs. They both want to keep an arms length distance from Aviva. Aviva is clearly the RHONY target this season, but for good reason. She's entirely insane and has a stick up her butt as long as the statue of liberty. The premeire showed Aviva kissing Ramona's ass to get back in her 'good graces.' Ramona is reluctant, but somehow gives in to her old Housewives enemy. This can not be good. Avivia clearly wants to stay on RHONY and getting in with Ramona is clearly the path. Remember what happened to Jill Zarin?!

Luanne is really gone from RHONY and her departure is bitter sweet. Without the Countess, it feels like the end of an era for the Real Housewives franchise. Sonja has a plethora of interns, and for what exactly? And they can't even open the door for Kristen when she rings the bell incessantly. Where does Sonja find these girls? Yet absolutely nothing was unexpected. Kristen is still figuring out her place within the Housewives after Ramona and Sonja told her how awful she is. If Kristen is smart she will stay with her 'crazy aunts' aka Ramonja and stay away from the dark side. And her marriage is exactly as we all predicted after seeing hundreds of RHONY promos for season 6.

It was interesting to see Mario Singer still with Ramona as we all know how that marriage ends up.

She filed for divorce this in January,  ending their 22 year marriage. After years of allegations, Ramona finally caught Mario cheating with a 27-year-old girl named Kasey Dexter in the Hamptons.

I think watching their demise is the only interesting part of the show.
