Upcoming Android Phones 2014: OnePlus One To Boast 5.5" Display But Remain Smaller Than 5" Sony Xperia Z1? Company Founder Teases In Live Image

Upcoming Android phones 2014: In spite the end of the CES and MWC, buzz in the Android community continues to rise with the news about the OnePlus One device.

Rumored as a flagship device, the OnePlus One allegedly boasts a 5.5-inch screen with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, Snapdragon 800 chipset, and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage.

Interestingly, given the specs of the device, the OnePlus managed to beat Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 in AnTuTu Benchmarking app.

However, in a new report by GSM Arena, the upcoming high-end device may still have more up its sleeve. The company's founder, Pete Lau, has recently posted an image of the Sony Xperia Z1 on its OnePlus forums.

It may not look much, but when Lau said that the 5.5-inch OnePlus One  is directly beneath the Xperia Z1, we can't help but raise an eyebrow.

Of course, the upcoming high-end device could be thinner than the Xperia Z1, but it slightly befuddles us how it can be smaller than the 5-inch Sony handset - unless it does not have any bezels in it.

The OnePlus One will be unveiled on March 16, so we would not have to wait any longer.
