Chris Pine And Girlfriend Iris Bjork Johannesdottir Wild Partying Leads To Arrest? ‘Star Trek’ Actor Facing DUI Charges In New Zealand

Reports claim that Chris Pine is currently facing charges for drunk driving in New Zealand. Last March 1, the 33-year-old actor reportedly attended a party for 'Z for Zachariah' with his Icelandic beauty queen girlfriend Iris Bjork Johannesdottir/

He then left the party but was later stopped by local authorities near the town of Methven. They then found out that Pine was driving with an above normal blood-alcohol level. In New Zealand, the blood-alcohol limit is .08 percent.

 Authorities did not divulge information regarding the arrest: "Given that the matter is now before the court police will not be releasing any further information." Court officials claim that the 'Just My Luck' actor will be making his first court appearance on Monday.

According to Methven's Blue Pub manager Casey Crawford, Pine was partying at the pub with his girlfriend and co-stars. However, Crawford says that even if Pine left the venue at past 2 a.m., he didn't appear intoxicated.

"Chris was really good. They were a good crowd, the whole lot of them," said the manager. Other guests who attended the party include Chiwetel Ejiofor and Margot Robbie.

Prior to the New Zealand party, Chris Pine and girlfriend Iris Bjork Johannesdottir were last seen in public when they arrived at the Los Angeles airport in January.

Previously, the 'This Means War' actor talked about how his mother taught him to be a gentleman:

"My mom always told me to take my elbows off the table, so that if I ever had dinner with a queen, I would know how to eat properly. But she also taught me basic things about being a gentleman, like opening car doors. Especially in Los Angeles, I think people lose those small gestures that harken back to a different time but are still mutually appreciated by men and women. Those little things are just nice."
