Celebrities Coming Out As Gay 2014 Include Kristian Nairn; ‘Game Of Thrones’ Character Hodor Refers To Gay Community As HIS Community

Celebrities coming out as gay are not surprising anymore and the recent addition to such confession comes from Kristian Nairn or likewise known as 'Game of Thrones' character Hodor. In an interview with a blog called Winter is Coming, the HBO series actor talked about his sexuality.

"Well, in all honesty, when you talk about 'the gay community,' you are talking about MY community, haha," said the 38-year-old actor.

The Irish star likewise says that he has never hidden his gender his "whole life". However, no one bothered to ask which made him decide not to talk about the topic.

On his Twitter page, he even joked about it: "haha. Yeah it's weird to see 'comes out' as the headline!! I was never in!! No one asked! Lol."

Nonetheless, he is aware that even before his coming out news circulated, he already has a gay fan base: "I AM aware of it yeah, and I think it's really lovely. There's not a day that I don't get a few messages, but 99% or more are super sweet and nothing smutty at all! Again, it's a privilege, and I really mean that," he said.

He similarly believes that his coming out should not affect the 'Game of Thrones' series.
