‘K-Pop Star’ Park Ji Min is Now JYP Artist!

‘K-Pop Star’ winner Park Ji Min who became the first female and youngest winner of an audition program in Korea has finally made a decision to work with JYP Entertainment as her label for her music career.

SBS released a statement on May 21, “Park Ji Min has made her decision and signed an exclusive contract with JYP and is now preparing to release her debut album in the near future.”

The statement continued, “As deciding for a management is a very important decision among SM, YG and JYP for her successful debut and music career we have been in constant discussion. After careful consideration Park Ji Min decided to debut through JYP concluding her preferred music style and color is a best fit there.”

Park Ji Min shared regarding her decision, “It still feels like a dream for me being able to join one of the three agencies, just thinking about it makes my heart flutter. I’m very excited to receive continuous personal guidance from Park Jin Young. I will learn diligently and do my best to show a lot of improvement in the future.”

SBS shared that besides Park Ji Min, the rest of the ‘K-Pop Star’ contestants such as Lee Ha Yi and Baek Ah Yeon are in talks with other agencies for a possible contract and mentioned that news of their expected contract will be reported within this week.
