Upcoming Samsung phones 2014: In case you are looking for a capable handset but the expensive pricing holds you back, then you may settle for a midrange Android device instead. 

This is exactly what Samsung has in mind whenever the tech giant launches its flurry of smartphone variations and editions - to cater to a wider scope of the market - and that includes Korea. 

According to a new report by GSM Arena, another midranger has hit the Korean market. Dubbed as the Galaxy Grand 2, this Android-pwoered handset is priced at a somewhat cheaper 517,000 Korean Won or about $484. 

While the handset is geared towards budget consumers, offering a handset above $400 may not appeal to everyone, especially given the Galaxy Grand 2's discrete specs

The Samsung device boasts a 5.25-inch display with HD resolution, a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 1.5GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera at the back, LTE-A support, and a 2,600mAh battery. 

The smartphone also has a microSD card slot, TouchWiz UI, and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box.

So, is buying a midrange handset that almost costs $500 reasonable?
