“Suits” Season 3: Harvey Specter Not Sincere With Dana Scott?; Louis Litt Finally Finds Out Mike Ross' Secret?
"Suits" season 3 mid-season premiere titled "Buried Secrets" was filled with romance between Harvey Specter and Dana "Scottie" Scott, as well as Louis Litt doubting Mike Ross' Harvard cover because he got an A+ of all things!
When Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) found out that Scottie (Abigail Spencer) is being pursued by other firms, he took the bulls by the horn so to speak and without consulting Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres), the ruthless lawyer hired her.
In the episode, Gabriel Macht's character was too busy getting it on with Scottie and although he tells his on-and-off fling that he cares for her, not a few are suspicious of his sincerity especially since he has a hidden agenda and as Laurel Brown of blog.zap2it.com said, is constantly trying to "negotiate/manipulate her contract."
The dynamic for the "Suits" season 3 has become quite simple: "With the British merger dead, Scottie needs a job. And Harvey wants a girlfriend," she wrote.
However, Harvey Specter's gamble of fronting $500,000 as buy-in for Scottie might backfire because now, he owns her and that might not sit well with independent Scottie.
Even Jessica Pearson thinks that Harvey Specter is not sincere in inviting Scottie into the firm, and she wants a guarantee.
Meanwhile, Mike Ross' (Patrick J. Adams) secret starts to unravel in "Suits" season 3 as Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) goes sniffing around on his Harvard background.
But what set Louis Litt is not because he couldn't seem to find any other records for Patrick J. Adam's character Mike Ross.
"The real 'gotcha' of the hour came at the end when a simple 'A+' in the class of a professor traditionally known as a blowhard became a flashing warning sign," Chandel Charles of TV Fanatic wrote.
