Top Android phones 2014: When it was launched almost a year ago, the Samsung Galaxy S4 was certainly among the top Android phones in the market, and was definitely worth the buck. 

Fast forward to 2014 and we see the same internals and features of the Galaxy S4 clothed in a new stylish black leather - but still priced at a significantly steep 1¤70 or about $830 in the UK. 

According to the report by GSM Arena, the former flagship device is offered exclusively offered by Phones4u in the country.

Well, at that price range, most Samsung fans might as well get the latest Galaxy S5 instead of a previous generation device with a different style. 

We admit that we hoped the Galaxy S5 would get the faux leather cover instead of plastic, but none of that matters now. A sensible and practical purchase would be the newly-released S5 over the S4. 

Just in case you are still trying to compare the two, they both have similar screen size, the same Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, the same 2GB of RAM, Snapdragon 600 for the S4 and 800 for the S5, and a 13MP camera for the former flagship, while the other gets a 16MP shooter. 

Both devices now run KitKat thanks to Samsung's timely updates this time.
