Top Nokia Phones 2014: All Lumias Now Support Nokia Refocus Camera Feature, Requires Nokia Black Update, Turns Your Smartphone Almost Into A DSLR Camera

Top Nokia phones 2014: In case you own an adequately-spec'd Nokia smartphone but you are still unimpressed with the quality of your images, then wait till you read this.

According to a report by GSM Arena, Nokia's famous Refocus app is now supported by not just the flagships or the midrangers, but ALL Lumias in the market, yes that includes the world phenomenon Lumia 520.

So what's the catch here, there probably is, right? Well, your Lumia phone should first get the Nokia Black update before you are able to install the application and use it with no problems.

But what does the Refocus app do? Simple. It allows you to refocus images from the get-go. You can choose to focus a distant background or object, or focus on a nearby object at a closer distance.

Yes, there has already been a number of similar apps released in Android's Play Store, but it still feels something if the app is a stock one from your phone.

In the report, Nokia's Lead Program Manager for Refocus, Jens Eggert, provided easy tips to produce the best refocus shots using the app.

"To create a great Refocus image, move as close as possible to the object nearest you, get that in focus - between five and ten centimeters - and ensure you've got something defined in the background. The best advice, however, is experimentation. Just play, it's fun!"

This app is certainly a neat feature and bringing it to all Lumias should have been quite a task for Nokia.
