Upcoming Android Tablets 2014: Rumored Samsung Slate Could Be Company's First That Has AMOLED Display And 2K Resolution, Tipped To Get Galaxy S5's Ultra Power Saving Mode

Upcoming Android tablets 2014: We all know that Samsung loves its tablet lineup as much as its smartphone devices. However, for the past couple of years, the Korean tech giant has not used AMOLED displays in its tablets.

So while all these new slates have displays with super high resolutions, they do not offer as much color as AMOLED displays do.

However, a new report claims that Samsung may be working on its first AMOLED-powered tablet that also has a QHD or 2K (2560 x 1600) display.

According to a report from BGR, leakster of everything Samsung SamMobile recently posted that the Korean manufacturer is already working on a tablet that will pack both an AMOLED display and 2K resolution - a company first.

Other alleged details of the mystery Android-powered slate include an Exynos 5 processor, Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box, and Samsung's homebaked UI, TouchWiz.

There would also be individual versions for Wi-Fi only, 3G and LTE models.

To top it off, the unknown Samsung tablet would also get the Galaxy S5's ultra power saving mode, which would prolong the device's battery life.

With all these rumors about this Android-powered Samsung tablet, are you convinced that this is a high-end device?
