Nokia Lumia Black Update: Nokia Lumia 925 users, a Windows Phone 8-powered unit, is now supposedly getting the Nokia Lumia Black Update. According to PhoneDog, noteworthy enhancements to the device include custom ringtones for messaging and mail and apps like Nokia Storyteller and Nokia Beamer are now featured in the new firmware fix

Below is the full changelog for the Lumia 925 update which PhoneDog posted on its website.

- Daily delighters: lock the screen rotation, close apps easily in the app switcher, use custom ringtones for messaging and mail, among other things
- Update to Nokia Camera that combines Nokia Smart Camera and Nokia Pro Camera. Available from the Store app.
- Get new apps, such as Nokia Storyteller for reliving the imaging experiences, and Nokia Beamer, the mobile projector for sharing content from your phone screen. Available from the Store app.
- Get the latest version of Nokia Glance Screen – see quick status notifications, for example, about calendar and messaging events, on the lock screen. Available from the Store app.
- Bluetooth 4.0 LE – preserve energy while staying connected via Bluetooth
- Get better Bluetooth connection quality, enhanced battery monitoring, and other stability and usability improvements

The Lumia Black update for the Nokia Lumia 925 comes almost a month after it hit the AT&T and other international versions of the device. Lumia 925 users can check the availability of the Lumia Black update by heading into your unit’s Settings menu and selecting Phone Update.

The Lumia Black update has been the Finnish tech giant’s official OS upgrade for its Windows Phone-powered devices. It has been rolling out the firmware enhancement since January of this year.
