SXSW 2014 Showcase Of Lady Gaga Went Too Far? Barbecue Brushes, Mechanical Pig, And Vomit Included In The 'Applause' Singer's Shocking Number

It is unfortunate that the South by Southwest event or SXSW 2014 recently made headlines for a tragic vehicular accident which took the lives of 2 attendees and injured 23 others near the Mohawk venue. Just a day after such headline, Lady Gaga's SXSW 2014 showcase generated much buzz for its peculiarity.

Last Thursday night, the 'Alejandro' songstress opened the Austin, Texas show by pretending to be roasting herself while the backup dancers basted her using barbecue brushes. 

The barbecue antic was nothing compared to her deed when she performed 'Swine'. Gaga's friend Brown joined her onstage, shoved her fingers down her throat, and threw up on Gaga while she was playing the drums.  

The neon green vomit-involving act was apparently planned. While others deem the act as a form of art, some like Demi Lovato weren't happy with how the 'Applause' singer made fun of eating disorder.

Gaga and Brown then made use of a mechanical pig where she played her keyboard. The act ended with Brown staining Gaga's skin with a black paint.

Lady Gaga's SXSW 2014 performance was filled with 'Little Monsters'. After all, the only way for people to score a ticket is to do a series of challenges and stunts required by Doritos. 

The 'Bold Missions' campaign gave out 2,000 tickets for Lady Gaga's show for those who were brave enough to do stunts like leaping from a 30-foot high platform to snatch a dangling ticket or earn $10-donation in 10 minutes by playing several instruments on the street.
