Samsung Flip Phone: Successor To Galaxy Golden Appears In Chinese Website, Specs Include Dual 3.67" WVGA Displays, Quad-Core CPU, 2GB RAM, Dual-SIM Support, 13MP Snapper, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean

Samsung flip phone: Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy Golden, an Android-powered flip phone that has dual touch screens.

Several months later and it looks like the Korean tech giant is ready to launch the Android flip phone's successor.

According to a report by GSM Arena, a flip phone from Samsung has recently been spotted at the Chinese Tenaa, which is an equivalent of the FCC in the United States.

Dubbed as the SM-G9098, the Android-powered handset will allegedly boast two 3.67WVGA displays, a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.3GHz, probably a Snapdragon 800 chipset, and 2GB of RAM.

Other notable specs include the usual connectivity options, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. The phone will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box. Also on board is a 13MP camera for better image resolution.

While no release dates were mentioned in the report, the fact that it already passed Tenaa is an indication that we will see this flip phone sooner rather than later.
