A message from Konima may have inadvertently announced the "Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain" release date, as reported on IGN. Particularly, the "Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain" release date is expected to happen early 2015.

Moreover, according to a post on GameRant, "Not only has Konami confirmed that Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is indeed on its way, but the company has also confirmed that a prologue of sorts, Ground Zeroes, will arrive this month (tomorrow, actually)."

This news about the alleged "Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain release date originated after a fan screengrabbed a supposed registration page for 'Ground Zeroes.' Accordingly, Reddit user Hitzkolpf noticed that gamers, after registering their copy of "Metal Gear Solid  5: Ground Zeroes, receive a message that suggest they return in early 2015 to receive bonus DLC. This led the fans to assume that the upcoming content will be for the follow-up game, "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain."

The message on the registration page particularly reads, "Come back early 2015 to claim your Downloadable Content."

Moreover, as posted on Trusted Reviews, rumors about the "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" suggest that the downloadable content will allows the gamers to "use the mercenaries rescued in Ground Zeroes as part of your troops in The Phantom Pain."

The official "Metal Gear Solid : The Phantom Pain" release date has yet to be announced by Konami. However, the game developer previously warned the gamers that the game will not launch anytime soon.

The series creator, Hideo Kojima, shared, "As far as the game itself goes, The Phantom Pain will take place in an immense open world map, while Ground Zeroes takes place in a smaller open world."

He further continued, "It would've actually been better to release it all at once, but by the way things are going, it appear likely that Phantom Pain will be coming out around the time the PlayStation 4 becomes more spread out."
