Dominic Cooper Opens Up About Racing for Need for Speed; Cooper Says He's Not Worried About Video Game Movie Typecasting; Will Be Seen In Warcraft

Dominic Cooper was cast in another video game adaptation, Duncan Jones's new movie takes place in Azeroth. The new Dominic Cooper movie is derived from the world of Warcraft

Dominic Cooper says he wasn't hesitant to sign on for the Warcraft movie.

Dominic Cooper is geek-famous for playing Tony Stark's father before making Need for Speed with Aaron Paul, Breaking Bad's Jesse Pinkman, .

Dominic Cooper broke through in the role of Howard Stark in Captain America: The First Avenger. He explored a much darker role as Dino Brewster in the Need for Speed movie.

In an interview with Collider, Cooper talked about the director Duncan Jones and his vision of Warcraft, "The world is very specific. What's been wonderful is seeing these guys who have this world in their heads for so many years. The creators of that game are suddenly on these sets, where the ideas that they had so many years ago have come to life, and it's been really exciting just to see that."

Before playing in Need for Speed, Cooper had other racing experience, saying "Some years ago in England, I tried it thinking after a lifetime of loving it that I would be quite good at it. But, I was terrified. You're only an inch from the ground, traveling at those speeds. You either have it or you don't."

Cooper isn't worried about being typecast in video game movies"They have been so accurate and responsible to the game and to the people who play the game, love the game and want to see those characters in that world shown on the big screen. There is a huge responsibility for those people. They are the fans, and they are the ones who sit for hours, in that world. It's scary, but it's great. It's a huge lot of fun."

Cooper admitted "I knew very little of the game, so the storyline within the script was just completely crazy, but exciting. Coincidentally, it was another big idea of a game, but I knew very little of the game."

Warcraft is currently in production. The movie stars Ben Foster, Travis Flimmel, Paula Patton, Toby Kebbell, Rob Kazinsky and Clancy Brown.
Warcraft hits movie theaters on March 11, 2016.
