‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ Plot Spoilers: Hulk Will Have A Girlfriend? Actor Mark Ruffalo Has A Coy Response! ‘Smashing Scenes’ Have Commenced In South Africa Shoot!

The actors of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" are now being hounded to share some clues on the story written by Joss Whedon. As always, they are sworn to secrecy, but sometimes, some non verbal signals seep through.

Mark Ruffalo plays the Hulk, and in "The Avengers" he is either a genius scientist at work or a green behemoth wreaking havoc. There is not much room to develop the character as he does not have a solo film. Thus, any character progress must be featured in The Avengers films.

Ruffalo talked with The Vulture about the Hulk, specifically a very juicy rumor that came out that will lend us a different side of the character:

From The Vulture:

Were you in South Africa when they shot the rampage scenes:  "I actually already shot a lot of that stuff, we did it on motion capture, so we did a lot of that on a stage. So they're doing all the [background] plates for that now in South Africa, and then I start work in mid-April."

In mid-April, he will get to see Scarlett Johannson, who is pregnant: "They're going to shoot a lot of closeups [of her]." Is this a reference to more CGI or using stunt doubles?

One of the minor sidelights of the Avengers is the geeky exchanges between him and co-star Robert  Downey Jr. Will there be more of that: "I'm guessing you will,"

On the big rumor that Bruce Banner may have a real love interest this time around, Ruffalo's wide grin told the tale. "That may or may not be true," was his coy response.

Speaking of the rampage scenes, an eyewitness account from Johannesburg was shared to Comic Book Movie. a local, Ismail Ebrahim ‏, informed CBM:

"I could see some sort of action scene where Hulk was battling someone but not too sure who was it. I could make it out clearly because they use a huge green head whenever they're filming Hulk scenes. ...They used a guy dressed normally but had on a backpack with 2 iron poles holding up hulk's chest upwards and then he was doing whatever he had to do... scaring the people. By the looks of it, Hulk will probably play a major role in the Johannesburg shoot."

Intriguing scene, but we do expect Hulk to smash, don't we?

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" will be released on May 1, 2015.
