Upcoming Samsung Phones 2014: Entry-Level Kitkat-Powered Handset Appears In Benchmark, Specs Include 4" WVGA Display, Dual-Core CPU, Dual-SIM Support

Upcoming Samsung phones 2014: In true Samsung fashion, the phone manufacturer is working on another handset - this time an entry-level smartphone that will be aimed at the mass market.

According to a report by GSM Arena, an upcoming Android-powered handset is currently in the works. Dubbed as the G310, this handset has surfaced in a benchmark, which revealed its specs.

In the report, NenaMark 2 benchmark has listed some of the Samsung device's specs, including a 4" WVGA display, dual-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, and Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box.

There is also an option for dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and a 1,500mAh battery.

If there's something about these meager specs, it looks like Samsung wants to take on the freshly-announced Nokia X and X+ droids.

While pricing and availability are not yet disclosed, we expect this to affect the sales of Nokia X and X+ handsets in the markets where they are available.
