Person Of Interest Season 3 Spoilers: Root Getting In Trouble In Episode 18, ‘Allegiance’? Check Out Teaser Video For Upcoming Episode!

Person Of Interest is nearing its season finale. With just a few episodes left, a lot of spoilers and speculations are circulating online, including the possibility of Daniel Casey (played by Joseph Mazzello) returning to the show for a big final showdown.

But, before that, it looks like Root (Amy Acker) is going to get in trouble in the next episode of Person of Interest.

From the press release of the upcoming episode:

"FINCH AND REESE MUST PLAY POLITICS WHEN THE LATEST POI IS HUNTING A UNITED NATIONS DIPLOMAT, ON "PERSON OF INTEREST," TUESDAY, MARCH 25

"Allegiance" - Finch and Reese must delve into the murky waters of international politics when they are given the number of a former government contractor who is stalking a UN diplomat. Also, an enemy attempts to gain an upper hand on Root, on PERSON OF INTEREST, Tuesday, March 25 (10:01 - 11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

While it didn't say who's going to try to get an upper hand on Root, it all comes down to - Decima or Control.

Decime is trying to build and restore "The Samaritan" and while it is not confirmed whether Decima knows the importance of Root to the "Machine", viewers can expect that this organization will do anything to achieve its goal - including eradicating anyone who will stand in their way.

Then there's Control, the person behind impairing Root's ear. Control knows that Root can talk to the "Machine" and she, too, has complete interest in it from the very beginning. Knowing the importance of Root to the "Machine", it is possible that she'll try to do something about it.
