‘How I Met Your Mother’ Season 9 Spoilers, Promo Video For Penultimate Episode: The Mother Meets Robin, Gives Advice On Wedding Day

The "How I Met Your Mother" season 9 penultimate episode airs next Monday, and new spoilers reveal the Mother will meet Robin for the first time and give her advice on her wedding day!

"How I Met Your Mother" season 9, episode 22, the penultimate episode of "HIMYM," is titled "The End of the Aisle." The episode synopsis reads: "With under an hour until the wedding, Barney and Robin suffer panic attacks while Marshall and Lily work on rewriting the vows from their own wedding."

The bride and groom will be suffering from some major pre-wedding cold feet and endure some intense panic attacks just an hour before they recite their vows, IB Times reports.

In the promo video for "How I Met Your Mother" season 9, episode 22, Barney hyperventilates into a brown paper bag as he sits upside down on a church couch. Robin nearly knocks her wedding band out of the way to escape her wedding, and who does she run into?

The Mother!

In the penultimate episode of "HIMYM," Robin will finally meet the Mother, a moment we've all been waiting for.

"Sometimes even just three deep breaths can change everything," the Mother tells Robin, giving her some last minute advice on her wedding day.

Actress Alyson Hannigan, who plays Lily, also teased that the show has a curveball or two in store for her character Lily and Marshall, Latino Post reports.

"There are a lot of answers to questions that you didn't know you had - or never knew to ask," Hannigan said. "They really, definitely give the fans everything in the series finale."

She went on to say that Robin's endgame surprised her the most. "Although I guess that's not really a surprise, because it's sort of been addressed in the past. You'll see."
