Kendall Jenner Dropping Last Name Totally Not Due To Bruce Jenner’s Rumored Sex Change! Model Spends Time In Former Olympian’s Malibu Home

Kendall Jenner dropping her last name is totally not due to her father Bruce Jenner's rumored sex change as the rising model even invited friends over on Wednesday to spend time in the former Olympian's Malibu beach house.

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashian" star looked pretty in her blue bikini bottom and a mismatched white strapless top, said E!  

Kim Kardashian earlier revealed to Huffingtonpost that Kendall Jenner dropping last name is not for anything else-much less over Bruce Jenner's rumored sex change-but rather to prove that she can make it on her own without piggybacking on the Kardashian brand.

"She went and auditioned, and she just goes by the name of Kendall, hoping that people won't think that she gets any [handouts]," she said at the sidelines of the DASH Miami opening on March 12.

Although Bruce Jenner has split with momager Kris Jenner, their separation was amicable and there's no divorce in the horizon. MailOnline also reported earlier that Bruce Jenner remains close to her two daughters, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, and has been hanging around with them any chance the former Olympian gets.

Kendall Jenner is an aspiring model who walked the runway of luxury brands like Givenchy during the Fashion Week in Paris, London and New York.

Critics have pointed out that she wouldn't have landed those high-profile runway shows without the influence of Kim Kardashian, who is friend with Givenchy for example.

However, Kim Kardashian said that Kendall Jenner "works her butt off."

"She just goes to casting after casting. I'm so proud of her that she -- for her first Fashion Week -- was able to achieve all the shows she was able to walk in. She's living her dream and it's so inspiring to watch her," Kim Kardashian said.

The 18-year-old model was oblivious to the controversy generated over Kendall Jenner dropping her last name as well as Bruce Jenner's rumored sex change as she played Frisbee with her friends, including Hailey Baldwin, the 17-year-old daughter of Stephen Baldwin who's also an aspiring model herself.
