Top Android Games 2014: Rovio's Angry Birds Epic Launches In New Zealand, Australia And Canada, Boasts RPG Elements, Costume-Clad Birds And Pigs, Turn-Based Gameplay, To Hit Play Store Soon

Top Android games 2014: Since the original Angry Birds game, the franchise has expanded a lot - from the Star Wars series, an adaptation of an animated film, more puzzle versions, and recently a 3D racing game. 

Now, Rovio has done the unthinkable - it has fused Angry Birds and RPG and came up with Angry Birds Epic. 

From the surface the game title sounds bland, and the gameplay being fun is difficult to imagine. However, as the game becomes live for iOS devices in Australia, New Zealand and Canada, we get a glimpse of how the game is actually played. 

Well, like most RPG titles, there will be a story revolving around the entire game, which most probably include the birds and pigs. Then, you enter the game and become lead the birds against hordes of pig soldiers, warlocks, witches, and so on. 

Similar to other RPG strategy games, each bird is dressed in what appears to be their jobs or classes such as the healer, soldier and mage. The costumes look cool on them, and like other RPG titles, there are a handful of effects for eye candy. 

The game isn't available for Android yet, though we expect Angry Birds Epic to be released in the Play Store in the coming weeks.
