HTC One 2 M8 Release Date: High-End Flagship Demoed In Lengthy Hands-On Clip Ahead Of Launch, Boasts Dual Camera Functions, Shows 'Power Saving Mode', Features Transparent Status Bar,

HTC One 2 M8 release date: A couple of weeks back, we saw a real hands-on video of the upcoming All New HTC One flagship alongside its precessor, the HTC One M7 of 2013. Now, the upcoming high-end device appears in another demo clip.

According to a report by Android Police, the yet to be announced Android device shows up in a hands-on video which pretty much showcases some of the features we would like to see from the new HTC flagship.

However, there's one bit of a problem. The entire video is in German, so you may want to get someone who knows the language if you want to understand what he is talking about. Otherwise, you can just enjoy the different features and functions which the new HTC One can do.

The video provides some info on the smartphone's dual cameras, and from the looks of it the post-capture focus alteration looks good. In fact, the post-processed images look like they have been shot with the help of the options of Nokia's camera app.

We also saw a power saving mode that is similar with Galaxy S5, minus the device's huge 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display. This feature can potentially help the All New HTC One last for more than a day, and hopefully two days straight on a single charge.

Lastly, there is the transparent notification bar which was brought by Kitkat recently. However, HTC has taken it one step further and enabled it to be completely transparent, enabling the phone's background image to extend to it.

The All New HTC One launch is just a couple of days away so you better brace yourself for the Taiwanese manufacturer's latest masterpiece.

By the way, here's the clip in case you want to watch it. Just turn the sounds off if you don't understand German.
