'Drop Dead Diva' Season 6 Premiere: Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss Guest Stint Nerve Wracking? Creator Says No Loose Ends For Series’ Final Season

"Drop Dead Diva"season 6 premier welcomes Stephen "tWitch" Boss of "Dancing with the Stars" fame, who admitted to being "nervous" on the set. The premiere aired in the wake of its creator's promise that there would be no loose ends for the last season of the series.

Stephen "tWitch" Boss plays Billy Donaldson whose younger brother was arrested for murder and arson eight years ago. He then hired Jane (Brooke Elliott) to prevent his brother spending the rest of his life in prison. Jane, however, uncovered some shocking evidence while investigating the case.

"It's a straight up acting role, which is the most exciting part because this is actually the first time I've done a guest star without a dance role," he told Zap2it. "It was refreshing ... (but) I was very nervous."

Although he said most of the cast of "Drop Dead Diva" season 6 didn't know that he dances, he praised the rest of the cast members for being "very cool" especially series star Brooke Elliott.

"She was very comforting, very encouraging and the more comfortable I felt, the nerves just started to rush away. But I definitely did not sleep the night before," he said.

Meanwhile, creator Josh Berman told The Hollywood Reporter that there would be no loose ends for "Drop Dead Diva" season 6.

"The nice thing about getting the word that it's the final season, it allows us, the writers and the actors, to really prepare and give a final chapter to the Drop Dead Diva saga," he said during the conference call.

"I think even those viewers that just watch occasionally or the ones that watched every episode, this is going to be a very satisfying season where all the ends are tied up," Josh Berman added.

"Drop Dead Diva" season 6 follows the professional and personal life of a model who was killed in a car crash and reincarnated as a lawyer. It stars Brooke Elliot, Margaret Cho, April Bowlby.
