Sean Penn, Charlize Theron Engaged? ‘A Million Ways To Die In West’ Actress Hides Rings Finger After Yoga Class Amid Rumors

Are Sean Penn and Charlize Theron engaged? That's the teaser for the latest issue of In Touch Weekly despite only being together for a few months. The rumors sparked further when the "A Million Ways to Die in West" actress was snapped strategically hiding her ring finger after yoga class in West Hollywood on Wednesday.

"This one's a little bit of a head scratcher, because who would have thought that Sean and Charlize would even get together, much less get so serious so quickly?" celebritydirtylaundry.com said.

On Saturday, the South African Sun-Times broke a story about Charlize Theron and Sean Penn scouring for engagement rings in some jewelry stores. The story, however, proved to be false.

A day later, the rep for Charlize Theron just said "no comment" when sought for reaction about Sean Penn and Charlize Theron engagement rumors.

There's also another hitch to the rumor about Sean Penn and Charlize Theron being engaged and that due to the actress not really believing about the concept of marriage. In fact, she was in a long-term relationship (nine years!) with Stuart Townsend but they never married.

Sean Penn, on the other hand, was previously married to Madonna and Robin Wright. He has a son with Madonna and two children with Robin Wright, Dylan, 23 and Hopper, 20.

The former model was snapped leaving YogaWorks in West Hollywood, which would have been a good occasion for paparazzi to spot the rumored Charlize Theron engagement ring. However, Charlize Theron seems to be hiding her left ring finger behind the two yoga mats she was clutching, MailOnline said. It's not known whether it was deliberate or not.

When Sean Penn was rumored to be dating Charlize Theron, the pair has refused to make any statements to media outlets. CNN host Piers Morgan, however, confirmed in his Daily Mail's Event magazine column that Sean Penn is indeed dating the statuesque South African.

Piers Morgan said that Sean Penn told him during the Help Haiti Home charity gala the actor sponsored in January.
