“Drop Dead Diva” Season 6: Can Fans Expect Jane Bingum And Grayson Kent's Happy Ending? Creator Hints Resolution For Couple's Issue!

"Drop Dead Diva" season 6 had just dropped a bomb on Grayson Kent when Jane Bingum finally admitted to him that she is Deb. After some hurt feelings, he asked him on a "first date" which leads fans to wonder if a happy ending is on the horizon for the couple. Series creator Josh Berman dropped hints that the storyline will be resolved this season.

At the end of episode 2 of "Drop Dead Diva" season 6, Grayson Kent (Jackson Hurst) called Jane Bingum (Brooke Elliott) and she wondered for a moment if he wanted to cancel their date. She shouldn't be blamed, however, after Grayson Kent told her that he had to help Kim Kaswell (Kate Levering) move her things back, said webcache.

However, Grayson Kent told Jane Bingum that he's thinking of her and she replied that she's been feeling the same way.

Leigh Raines of TV Fanatic, however, doubts that a happy ending between Jane Bingum and Grayson Kent wouldn't be that easy.

"You guys didn't think the writers were going to let us see Jane and Grayson be a couple that quickly, did you? C'mon, it took five seasons for Grayson to even know Jane's real identity!" she wrote.

Meanwhile, series creator Josh Berman told TV Line that the final season of "Drop Dead Diva" season 6 will be about Jane Bingum and Grayson Kent.

"So many shows have the will-they-or-won't-they couple and it never really gets resolved, but this certainly gets resolved - one way or the other - this year," he said, although conceding that their start was very rocky after he found out that Jane Bingum trusted her friend Stacy Barrett (April Bowlby) with the truth and not him.

Josh Berman added: "Everyone thought we were going with Jane and Owen. There were the Owen camps and the Grayson camps on Twitter. We never thought the chemistry would be so strong between Jane and Owen; he was originally just brought in for a three-episode arc, but they sparked to each other. In my mind, I always knew it was building towards Jane and Grayson. The question this season is: Can they overcome their hurdles?"
